Author Erin Dionne (and long-time Blue Bunny pal) debuts her first picture book, CAPTAIN’S LOG: SNOWBOUND, illus. by Jeffrey Ebbeler (Charlesbridge) with us at our Monday, November 12, Storytime (Veteran's Day holiday). The book is about a child who gets a little too into his research on Capt. Ernest Shackleton when school is canceled by a blizzard. Taking on the persona of the Captain, he narrates his family’s exploits while they’re stuck at home. CAPTAIN’S LOG has earned a starred review from Kirkus.
