Meet the Blue Bunny Staff
General Manager Margie Leonard has been with us since the store moved to its current location in 2007. A former elementary school teacher, Margie is passionate about picture books, Blue Bunny storytimes, and our littlest fans -- the preschool set. You can often find Margie snapping photos of kids’ most awesome artwork, eloquently recommending the works and prints of Peter H. Reynolds, and hobnobbing with the Boston children’s lit crowd.
Sara Iantosca's background in children's book publishing fuels her recommendations for anything from picture books through young adult novels. In fact, she met Peter Reynolds when The Dot was first released in 2003 and is thrilled to now be "making her mark" with the Blue Bunny team, especially during storytimes or by researching and suggesting titles for our ever-expanding adult section. In her spare time, Sara enjoys volunteering at two school libraries, which also helps her stay current with the latest and greatest books for young readers.
Janet Reynolds started in the publishing business a long time ago, and has been passionate about children’s literature for even longer. Charged with keeping two feet on the ground for twin brothers Peter and Paul Reynolds, whose vision is always hovering somewhere nearer the ceiling, Janet is happiest when helping to share the mission and spirit of the store with the community, friends, and wayward customers. Janet loves the book-loving surrogate family of supporters that come through the door each day, and loves making cupcakes for our beloved author events!
Kim Huynh! A human being who loves to read! The "human being" part is up for debate (silly, Kim!), but the love of books is real. In addition to working at BB, she's also a book blogger with Book Munchies. Kim is passionate about YA, Blue Bunny events, book conferences and keeping the team informed of breaking news in the world of publishing. She is also our social media gal, so follow BB on twitter and Instagram and you'll get the latest from Kim!
